Berlin Memorial Activity Blog

Blog

During the Berlin Memorial Activity I learned many things, these things seem ordinary but others do not. For example a peace of history I learned was in the year of 1939 and this quite ordinary and may be very reasonable. The note states, “Jews not allowed to leave their home after 8:00pm, 9:00pm in mumiser.” This caught my eye, because if we look in the nazi perspective they see Jews as a threat to economy and can't let them wandering off without supervision, so my guess is they took precautions and decided to make a schedule. One that was out of the ordinary is that in the year of 1939 the Jews were not aloud music or entertainment, “Jews to turn in radio” I mean music brings hope and allows us to get threw tough times and hard work. Some may say all hope is lost but that may not be the case.

I think the monument was built because it shows the reactions the Jews had to face and how we should be thankful about what we have now. I think that the laws being passed over the years were getting weaker because as Hitler's rose to power others quickly regain strength and brought him down to size. The restrictions I would  have trouble with is the whole music issue and entertainment, bc gives me another thing to hope for and have cause if I go down I'll have a pleasant face because if I died listening to my favorite song, or something like that.

Book talk blog

Book talk blog

Hello everyone I'm here to talk to you about a book that I'm reading called “conspiracy 365” by Gabrielle Lord. Well hope you enjoy my book talk.

Fifteen year old Callum Ormond is still on the run for “attacking” his uncle Rafe and leaving his younger sister in a coma. And he’s still not any closer to solving the riddle of the “Ormond Singularity.” He’s still being aided by Boges, possibly his last friend left in the world as police forces throughout Australia are on the watch for him. Cal has a mysterious girl about his age helping him, or using him for her own purposes, he’s still not quite sure. This girl has helped escape from a group of people who put him into an oil tank. The girl helped him get out but on page 174 she said something really interesting. “You’d better hurry up if you want to stay alive,’ she added. ‘I’m serious, Sligo will be back any minute, and if he sees me—’ she paused and slung her bag over her shoulder, ‘he’ll know it was me who got you out.” She is clearly hiding something.  Now they have made it out of the territory of Sligo and made a run for it but with Sligo on their back things will become more difficult. Just by reading this there is a way to find the setting, the characters, conflict, mood, and a possible theme.

The setting is based in the suburbs, in Australia. The characters are Cal , the Mysterious girl, Mom , his little sister Gabi, and Uncle Rafe. The conflict is that Cal has a big family secret which killed his father or at least had something to do about his father's death. So he is on the run always and every day. He only has 1 more year to find out the truth. He is being blamed for putting his sister in the hospital attacking his Uncle Rafe and trashing and breaking into his house. The mood of this book would be very intense, adventurous, and maybe a little mysterious. I have not figured out the theme. I thought this book was pretty amazing and very action packed, which personally made me like it. It has all of these mysterious moments but so many intense scenes that it like pictures the scene for you in your head. Which is actually pretty cool, and hey double deal the book is good and you can actually picture these scenes good (to understand the story). Plus speaking about  doubles and 2 and what not… this is actually the 2/12 book, yeah there is a series. I recommend this book to people who love adventurous and action packed books, maybe even mysteries and fugitive story based books too. But to be honest this book can go with anyone. This is also why you should get this book because of everything I just said. Plus when you read the series the whole story comes together and forms very good hooks, endings, story lines, and many questionable scenes in the book.

Non-fiction blog

In the book the Hindenburg disaster I have learned many things and I have found out how it all went down. So in the book it basically talks about how people were amazed about how it was a “flying hotel” because it was able to stock up people staff and cargo. The nazis probably thought this was a good idea to have their symbol on the tail of it. But when it nursed up in flames I think it was a suicide mission because recent incidents in the past may lead to this. People actually had jump out of the aircraft to survive. Many said it was horrifying.

A passage from this article I thought was interesting was how hitler said this willl increase his naval prestige. I thought this was him attacking America. Hence what is said about in the first paragraph.

I found out that they luxury and games there. It could be named flying cruise ship of wonder because many said it was like a dream just hanging out in the bar looking ou the window and etc. I feel like this would hurry up and become a world wide attraction, and believe me yes it did.

Gratitude blog

I am grateful for my mom and dad because they put food in my stomach and put a roof over my head and a bed to sleep on, and clothes on my body. Im grateful for my mom working three jobs and still being there when we needed her. And when my dad left my new dad came, unlike most men he did not abandon our family because it was just me my sister and my mother. He has been paying bills for us and been showing love too.

I am grateful for my siblings because they make me laugh and put a smile on my face. They are always there for me. Because every time i come home my little brother screams and cries until i hang out with him. My sister she is alway there for me even though we're always in each others hair, but sometimes it's meant to be because we look out for each other. And there is many others I don't know about but i'm sure there good too.

I am grateful for my freinds because they are the best friends ever. They have always been there for me. And always cheered me up. We all look out for each other. We would always make the best out of everything we had together. One time we made a band. And now we're set on YouTube. I really don't know why but it's just what we're set out for next.

AoW impresssions

During my gallery walk i have noticed many worldwide conflicts, depression, and mysteries. One of these things are based in ohio. Students in Ohio  are trying their best to break the cycle of bullying. 4 out of 8 children who enter early adulthood have experienced bullying in their past or in their current life. They are hoping to put this plan into action as a worldwide thing. Another  article states that with trump winning the election and our education in his hands, school boards districts and the Board of Education is on the case. Trump says during his campaign he would give a twenty billion dollar check to private schools. Instead of public schools. In the article it states that public schools would need the m only for the education of the communities.

Another interesting topic is the 600+ creepy crawlies  that live in your home. Some say these creatures help us humans to survive. There form is like crabs but they are too small to be seen with a naked eye. Some are possibly freaked out of bugs living with them in their everyday lives.. I mean I would be. Speaking about animals there is yet another man mysterious problem. Based in Miami Bonnet bats Rome the land. Now most people are afraid of this creature because of what it does… survive? These creatures can go after humans animals insects and plants whenever they feel like. Most people also believe that they help farmers from their plants getting ruined from bugs who feast on the crops, luckily the bats get the munchies and go for snacks. These bats are not ordinary they live in trees no are not nocturnal. These bats a very unique

What are your thoughts on this election in general?

What are your thoughts on this election in general?

There is no worthy candidate in this debate but only a small percentage do they qualify to be the president. The 2016 election went a little to the opposite direction because of the candidates attitudes and background. There was many violent protests and more reasonable too. Because many did not love Trump because of his ignorance and his hatred to certain people and many did not love Hillary because of her deleted emails they may lead to the case of a few American soldiers and their deaths along with screwing over the US army.

Now even though that they both were not good candidates one of them still won and it was Trump. See personally i think that they both are gonna screw America over and it has already began. Young children are bullying their friends because they say it's right if the president says it's right. But not only that many people are getting harassed and profiled because of Trump and some Clinton because feminism and women's rights.

Well we are set for a long journey. This means most of our freedom is done for and our world's human rights is just bizarre. Our world is filled with hatred and difficult times but if we work together we would be able to fix our problems. And sadly these past hundreds of years show that we are the problem. Many people would say yes others will say no, and some may stay neutral. So overall we're screwed either way but we may get through it if we work together.

Veterans poem

The Fallen Grace

Some made fun
of the men who hold a gun
Some may not have one though
Some may also will never let go
There were many freedom fighters who have fallen
But the love and thx is still callin
Forever our country will stand tall
So our free souls will never fall.
